PGP Corporation is looking for experienced software engineers to join the PGP® Customer Engineering Universal server team. PGP Universal TM Server is a security appliance which includes an email proxy, secure web mail, and policy management features. Developers will implement features, fix bugs and provide customer specific enhancements going into Service Packs and Maintenance Releases and write unit tests for each development and provide those to QA for automation. These positions are located in our offices in Cluj, Romania and report to the PGP Site Manager

To facilitate our start-up software development operations in Cluj, Romania, PGP Corporation is partnering with local experts at RECOGNOS Romania to assist with setting up business infrastructure and to initiate hiring a team of dedicated professionals.

Descrierea postului:

•Maintain and develop new software features.
•Take ownership of existing software components.
•Have the ability to work with PGP Product Management to help shape the direction of product features.
•Think strategically. Systematically review issues, diagnose their root cause, analyze if your solutions will scale for thousands of users and keys, and determine how reliability can be continually increased.
•Write design documents and technical functional specifications.
•Work collaboratively with QA engineers on bug isolation and fixes.

Cerinte:

•Completed or pending B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
•2+ years C/C++ programming in Unix environment, preferably Mac OS X, FreeBSD, or Linux or 2+ years experience programming in Java (server-side).
•Understanding of networking, protocols, and threads.
•Familiarity with messaging protocols such as IMAP, POP, and SMTP.
•Experience with version tracking software like Subversion, Bugzilla, and application building using autoconf/configure/make.
•Experience using SQL and a relational database such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Desirable Skills:
•Experience with PGP® software and other security products
•Understanding of OpenPGP, OpenSSL, OpenSSH and other IETF security protocols
•SOAP/XML/XSLT Experience
•LDAP and Directory Server Experience
•Familiarity with Kerberos
•Prior experience with CORBA or SOAP
•Experience with scalable, fault tolerant, highly available, distributed applications
