For the Customer Sales and Support Department, for handling the technical aspects of the company’s relations with strategic customers.

Job Description:
The role involves end to end management of all technical aspects of an account including delivery of solution through. The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a senior technical resource who is dedicated to ensuring the success of the system implementation from initiation right through go live and into long term support. The TAM takes personal responsibility for the system. The candidate will be required to work with other Alvarion’s team members to deliver a successful end-to-end project to the customers

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provides the single point interface back to the Alvarion’s product teams
• Serve as the Technical Manager for the project, as part of the project team
• Promotes and sustains a high-level of communication between all Alvarion teams to ensure customer challenges and opportunities are clearly understood and addressed
• The TAM's role is to understand the customer’s business goals and technical environments and to be available for direct consultation
• Implements and supports customer loyalty, retention, and communication programs
• Manage the customer’s support service needs with specialized deliverables. Listens to Customer needs and determines how Alvarion’s products can be applied to solve those needs, communicates proposed solutions which have direct application and significant benefits, and gains the Customer's confidence that the proposed solutions will be successful
• Establishes and maintains executive level relationships with customers
• Document and respond to Customer inquiries and problems while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
• Identifies Professional Services opportunities and sells services that promote expanded use of Alvarion’s products across the customer's network

Cerinte
Skills and Qualifications
• 5 years of relevant technical experience with customer related jobs
• Previous experience with wireless systems is mandatory
• Previous experience in system engineering is mandatory
• Previous experience in networking and familiarity with TCP/IP and VoIP
• Previous experience in integrating OSS/BSS systems
• Experience with handling customers
• Self motivated with excellent team-work capabilities
• Serviceability and excellent human relations
• Prior pre-sales / project management experience will be a definite plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent English.
