The new Sales and Marketing regional office in Romania has responsibility for developing existing and new business relationships with hotels and travel agents. The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will take over a variety of sales, marketing and business development initiatives to optimize company’s portfolio of hotels and travel agents partners in Romania and other countries in the region. This person will lead a new team to develop and maximize our partnerships. This is an extremely high-impact role with excellent growth opportunity for the right individual. The right candidate will be hands-on with data and analyses, can interact intelligently with people at all levels, be strategic in approach and tactical in execution and bring a combination of extremely strong analytical skills, business judgment and great organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Build & Develop the Team
2. Negotiate and secure market deals, exclusive promotions and offers.
3. High focus on internal and external relationships addressing the needs of our suppliers.
4. Plan and execute regular and relevant Market Visits according to the Regional goals, targets and objectives. Attend and participate to all relevant tradeshows, workshops and local events to match the market needs and requirements. Share relevant data and information with the suppliers to ensure a high level of communication and feedback to optimise the supplier performance.
5. Prospect New Hotels and travel Agencies. Negotiate contracts ensuring competitive rates, allotments and cut offs.
6. Identify opportunities with partners to deepen relationships, and grow revenue by soliciting promotions, additional inventory and room types.
7. Train Hotel Partners on the proper use of available tools and encourage uptake of direct connect technology and online accounting tools
8. Assist the Group/Accounting Department with reconciliation issues.
9. Drive the revenue management function in regions covered. Forecast demand patterns, identify product shortfall, and apply the appropriate pricing strategy to increase revenue
