As QA Project Manager at the company, you will report to the QA Manager/Senior QA Project Manager and will be responsible for creating test plans, setting test priorities, training new hires and facilitating QA interaction with company global offices. This offer is for a full-time position located at Bucharest office of the Company, except as travel to other locations may be necessary to fulfill your responsibilities.
The QA Project Manager is also responsible for evaluating the performance of the application/game testers and for ensuring they have adequate technical resources to perform testing. You will act as a knowledge resource for the QA teams, offering guidance to the testers throughout the testing process and maintaining control over the code release process.

•Focuses on immediate team and identifies team issues and suggests solutions related to execution goals;

•Solves specific problems that have impact on team performance;
•Learns to provide regular feedback to team members; conducts regular one-on-one meetings;
•Recognizes individual and team accomplishments or results;
•Identifies issues that have impact on team and/or individual performance or development needs;
•Carries out scheduled and annual performance reviews for QA Project Leads and audits project lead reviews of QA Test Leads;
•Collaborates with others to define project goals including scope, quality and timeframe;
•Creates flexible project plan, including requirement definition, task definition, talent assignment, capacity planning and timeframes;
•Directs team and managers to completion, modifying project plans as necessary;
•Builds and tracks day-to-day schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources;
•Inputs into team capacity planning shift planning etc;
•Works with managers to resolve any issues or concerns that may appear;
•Differentiate between what can be solved vs. what needs to be escalated;
•Identifies risks and recognizes problems;
•Applies creativity and lessons learned to solve problems.
•Consolidates data from multiple testing sources into a single test status;
•Ensures relevant data is captured in information and business systems;
•Established awareness of software automation technologies;
•Updates task schedules and identifies risks related to external relationships;
•Exposure and contribution to the strategic planning process for the assigned projects;
•Produces error-free results in area of responsibility;
•Recognizes when product quality is slipping and escalates;
Cerinte Required skills:
•Advanced knowledge into Mobile platforms such as iPhone, Android,J2ME, BREW, Windows Mobile, etc;
•Strong familiarity with standard design and functionality of Mobile and applications;
•Advanced knowledge in using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc);
•Full life cycle software development process knowledge;
•Strong time management
•Superior verbal and written communication skills in the English language;
•Excellent teamwork required;
•People management is a must;
•Strong organizational skills;
•Self motivated, with strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervision;
•Attention to detail;
Experience:
•3+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity of QA teams within the software industry;
•In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and procedures;
•Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with various wireless platforms (J2ME, BREW, Windows Mobile, iPhone, etc);
•Knowledge into iPhone/iPad platforms is preferred but not necessary;
•Firm understanding of the development lifecycle of complex software applications;
•Ability to grasp functional requirements and integration points in order to design a comprehensive QA strategy and mentor team members;
•Strong coordination and communication capabilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams comprising of developers, producers, customer service teams and deployment coordinators;
•Strong leadership skills;
•Proven ability to manage and lead a test team;
•Demonstrated knowledge of software development processes;
•Interest in software testing and video games;
