To facilitate our start-up software development operations in Cluj, Romania, PGP Corporation is partnering with local experts at RECOGNOS Romania to assist with setting up business infrastructure and to initiate hiring a team of dedicated professionals

The Program Manager will maintain and drive product delivery schedules across PGP product development efforts in Cluj as well as coordinating with PGP teams in other locations. The primary responsibility of this individual is to ensure the successful delivery of products developed within PGP Engineering. A successful product delivery meets its stated goals and objectives, and is completed within the agreed scope, budget and timeframe boundaries.

The position is responsible for creating a master schedule for their projects (based on the requirements/schedules of the individual teams), managing the project to scope, schedule and budget, and ensuring that the project adheres to PGP Engineering methodology. This individual will closely collaborate with Engineering Management, Product Management, Support, and other cross-functional stakeholders throughout all stages of the product life cycle to proactively identify and mitigate obstacles, at-risk deliverables, and other impediments to product delivery. The ideal candidate is results-focused, detail-oriented, and can escalate issues appropriately.
This position reports to the PGP Engineering Site Manager in Cluj.

Cerinte:

Requirements:

•3+ years of related experience in commercial software project management, or development management
•Demonstrated success in managing multiple complex software and package implementations from requirements
initiation through deployment and ongoing sustainment activities
•Excellent communication and cross group collaboration skills
•Strong technical skills backed by a deep understanding of how to deliver business critical technology projects
•Commitment to maintaining subject matter expertise in functional area
•Self-motivated

Experience:
•Experience with PGP or other data security products
•Understanding of security and mail protocols such as OpenPGP, SSL, SMTP, POP, MIME, etc.
•PMI or similar certification experience
•Experience tracking contractual deliverables
•Experience with Microsoft Project or other planning software
•Experience with Agile development practices such as Scrum
