OVERALL PURPOSE:
To support the Romania Operations Management in the execution of customer Sales Orders (SO) to achieve committed deliveries to customers and improve customer service. This will include the monitoring and coordination of functional requirements from a technical, technological, manufacturing, commercial and materials perspectives to deliver the SO on time, meeting all of the quality requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Planning and coordinating functions to fulfill customer sales orders using planning/ project management/MRP tools.
• Interface with functional departments on the progress of the work, updating the SO execution master plan and where appropriate identify the relevant activities and critical items having significant impact on the completion and take appropriate action to resolve them.
• Communicate with all involved departments and plants to ensure accurate information is made available at all times to facilitate effective decision making for the benefit of the assigned work.
• Organize appropriate internal work-progress related meetings to achieve committed deliveries to customers, working closely with Sales, Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning&Purchasing, Production Control, Manufacturing and Finance; record and issue official minutes and maintain a record of all communications related to the work.
• Monitor and update users on progress and status of SO and independently work to ensure timely completion; deliver comprehensive progress reports to Sales, Operations management and Finance.
• Monitor relevant KPIs to measure the performance of all involved departments and work on improvement projects.
• Liaise with Sales, production and supporting departments to discuss and track SO changes and also provide regular updates and projection of Sales Order execution to Operations management.
• Coordinate a cooperative approach with production, planning, purchasing and sub-con Team, supervisors and managers in the development and adherence to schedules and operating plans.
SPECIFIC TASKS:
- Work with Sales department to ensure all needed information on a SO are available in due time (painting system, packing requirements, TPI requirements, prices, shipping instructions)
- Monitor EWR status for pre-release and release of PNs
- Monitor the routing creation status
- Monitor the standard cost release status
- Work with Materials department to monitor the status of raw materials and work order release status
- Work with Manufacturing and Production control to follow up the production status and establish/optimise the priorities in production
- Monitor the DN release status
- Proactive communication with Sales to highlight constraints/delays in respecting the committed deliveries to customer
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma in engineering or minimum 4 years of related experience in a manufacturing, machine shop or assembly environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• MRP experience required - SAP experience highly desirable;
• Knowledge of scheduling tools;
• APICS-CPIM certified and related Oil and Gas experience is beneficial
• Good problem solving ability and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Possess the ability to function with a high sense of urgency and interface with and influence personnel at all levels
• Work experience in heavy manufacturing environment (experience in low volume, high complexity manufacturing would be an asset);
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes;
• Exposure to multinational environment;
• Very good English skills(reading, speaking, written);
