Descrierea postului:
To lead the Site Materials Group with effective strategies and best practices:
• Manage, control and direct the activities of all personnel engaged in Site Tactical Materials support, i.e. Purchasing, Scheduling, Shipping, Receiving and Kitting.
• Collaborate with Management in the development of, and align the Site Tactical Materials Group in support of both Site and Corporate materials goals.
• Develop, implement and manage policies and procedures, as well as material control systems, necessary to ensure adequate controls are in place for the effective execution of purchasing, scheduling and material logistics functions within the Site.
• Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction through the management and direction of Site Tactical Materials Group.
• Responsible for accurate inventory cycle counts and controls.
• Provide for the proper shipping and documentation of finished goods.
• Review and approve purchase orders, purchase order changes and purchase order claims as per Purchasing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Understand and drive to meet monthly/quarterly site revenue and margin objectives.
• Attend regularly scheduled Customer Team meeting as required.
• Provide customer support to Sales Group by representing Materials in sales presentations.
Cerinte
A Degree in Business or related field is desirable.
APIC Certification in production inventory control management (CPIM) or ISM Certification in procurement management (CPM) is beneficial
A minimum of 7 years of similar or related experience is desired.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
Management/supervisory skills are essential.
Problem solving skills.
Assertiveness, prioritizing skills, multi-tasking capabilities.
Computer literacy in MRP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Very good English. |
