Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Product Marketing Manager will help define new products that will shape the future of gaming for the mobile/digital division of the company. They will market a wide range of titles for iPhone/iPod Touch and smartphones that are fun, recognizable and meet the company’s aggressive revenue goals.
Market Strategy Objectives
• Provide analysis and long term strategic thinking to help inform slate decisions and product development, ensuring profitability and a smart business direction for franchises.
• Provide marketing direction to studio – defining publishing goals and product scope, developing product strategy and ensuring products are tracking against these at key development milestones.
• Prepare marketing plans for titles, covering overall marketing plans, priority titles, asset management and budgets required
• Work with the marketing team, advertising agency and PR agency on the development and implementation of go-to-market strategies,
• Ensure successful launch execution and clear consumer messaging of key product roll-outs.
• Manage results-driven marketing campaigns that span multiple disciplines (e.g. branding, multi-channel marketing, PR, promotions, Web/online advertising & search, WAP advertising, traditional advertising etc)
Global Product Management
• Work in partnership with the Global Marketing & Studio teams, providing strategic global thinking with a deep consumer focus throughout the product development
• Deliver and develop new/existing franchises that are relevant to the worldwide market.
Cross Functional Team Work
• Work closely with key regional marketing personnel to grow franchises in their territories via innovative consumer marketing campaigns
• Facilitate the sharing of best practice and benchmark implementation across all markets
• Assist Product Marketing Director in overall planning and take on responsibility for additional ad hoc projects
Cerinte Requirements
• Must have experience managing at least one full product development cycle from concept to execution.
• Ideally 4-5 years of marketing experience
• Mobile, online, digital entertainment or consumer electronics experience strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated success as a product spokesperson on a regional, national or global level.
• Experience formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing.
• Genuine passion for games and knowledge of main events in the mobile/iPhone arena
• Self motivator, independent worker and strong team player
