DBA SQL Server 2008

Descrierea postului:

We are currently seeking to hire 2 senior DBAs (database administrators).

Daily tasks include:
- Availability, high resilience and performance tuning for the system databases
- Ensure the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases
- Proactively monitor the database systems, securing services with minimum downtime
- Trend analysis for management
- Troubleshooting and problem solving for SQL development
- Improvement and maintenace of the databases to include rollout and upgrades
- Responsible for implementation and release of database changes according to agreed timescales and costs.

- Communicate with Romanian and Danish teams, project details in English

Cerinte
- In depth MS SQL Server Database Administration experience.
- Experience managing multiple MS SQL 2008 RDBMS on large systems
- Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects
- Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.
- Experience with Transactional SQL
- Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security
- Experience in mirroring, log shipping and other specialized tasks

- Fluent English communication

- Computer science or equivalent diploma is a plus, not required (e.g. we value geeks without diploma but with strong knowledge and experience)
- Open to learn new technologies on the fly
- Team player (collaborative, open-minded, funny).
- Problem solving skills
