Descrierea postului:
1. Development of billing systems and surrounding applications based on implementation projects triggered by bussiness requests or by technological improvements;
- applications development;
- information system design in line with required level of integration within Billing IS and related areas (CRM, V&S, Multimedia).
- support and collaboration with Business Solutions department in analyzing requests’ fezability and providing flexible solutions for the request based on current architecture or in line with predicted future architecture.
- support in building functional specifications
- build/draft technical specifications
- Technical support/ PM support in tenderings (“Offer request” process) and monitoring/controlling cotractual rollouts with the external providers.
- defining/aggregating complex test plans (system/platform test-plans)
- major system/applications reconfiguration
- identifying and implementing new development technologies on the Billing systems/applications
- coaching activities for new colleagues (Billing Solution Developer, Offer Implementation Specialist, Interconnect & Mediation Specialist)
- active participant in Billing budget reviews/forecasts
2. Support the operational team in order to ensure proper operation of the systems and availability of their functionalities. Level 2 support activity (towards the applications administrators) for conjuncture operational situations/issues.
3. Identify new opportunities for the functional development of Billing systems
4. Technical/activity management for outsourced resources regarding the efficient allocation of the developments required on Billing area
5. technical knoledge transfer within the Billing Development team and identifying areas with needs for specialized resources (insourced or outsourced) in order make the activities more efficient;
6. Other silimar activities as requested by hierarchical superiors
Cerinte
- University graduate (Computer Science or Economic Cybernetics)
- English or Italian – fluently
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Perl,Java, J2EE, etc), PL/SQL developments, operating
- Strong knowledge of complex billing systems architecture/fucntionalities (Oracle BRM and Commissioning, Cramer, Infranet Portal, Geneva, Jupiter, AMDOCS,BSCS, CS4).
- MS Office, MS Project, project management applications
- Strong experience and knowledge in architecturing mid and large sized IS
- Strong knowledge of Billing and CRM applications’ architectures, processes and their interdependencies.
- Software development methodology (software engineering)
- Capacity to solve conflictual tasks and deadlocks dependencies related to systems
- Previous experience in managing and coaching technical resources in software development projects.
- Relevant IT experience
