Descrierea postului:
The aerospace engineer is the senior technical position on the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) program. This position is the technical counterpart to the Project/Program Manager and reports to the Manager of UAV Project. The emphasis in this position is on UAV system design and technical decision-making.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in the aerospace industry in a design capacity with extensive familiarity in aircraft development.
Must be conversant in several of the fields involved in UAV design, including:
avionics, software, controls, performance, structures, propulsion, aerodynamics, and systems engineering.
Education in more than one field of engineering, culminating in an advanced degree, is required.

In this role:
- You will be part of a team that works on developing autonomous UAV's
- You will need to be able to travel and work abroad if required for short period of times (Asia & EU)
- You will need to Design moderately complex aeronautical/astronautical UAV's and assist with tests, trials and development stages.
- You will develop and analyze moderately complex aeronautical/astronautical designs for current and conceptualized hardware, components and systems.
- You will create working prototype(s), analyze critical areas of the design including dimensional, structural and thermal.
- You will need to be able to Prepare reports of results and conclusions, recommend and implement changes to design based on said conclusions
