Oracle is looking for Engineers skilled and with real experience on Application Server technology, mainly on Portal and Enterprise 2.0 related products and architectures (WebLogic Portal, UCM and WebCenter). These engineers will join the Advance Customer Services - EMEA Expertise Center, a team which centrally delivers proactive and reactive services for any country across EMEA.
Oracle Advanced Customer Services is a global business unit within Oracle Support, which focuses exclusively on facilitating the continual operational improvement of the Oracle environment that the customer has — throughout the life of the Oracle solution implemented.
Advanced Service Engineers work with these customers, assisting them to maximize the stability, availability and performance of their critical business systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivering high quality technical results to ACS Customers;
- Ensuring adherence to internal methodology, tools and quality standards;
- Identifying required/recommended actions on Customer systems as main output of service delivery, based on own knowledge and experience;
- Escalating at the right time customer issues to Advanced Service Manager where relevant;
- Active participation on Services development;
- Active collaboration with other engineers in the team or in other teams, to share knowledge, experiences, and others, which can benefit ACS Business results.

REQUIREMENTS:
- University Degree;
- 5+ years experience administering a production environment based on Fusion Middleware (including Oracle WebLogic Server);
- Proven experience installing, configuring and administering Oracle Fusion Middleware products (including WebLogic Server);
- Strong skills on performance and troubleshooting in Oracle Fusion Middleware environments;
- Strong skills on High Availability Architectures;
- High experience and proven involvement on designing and implementing Portal and Enterprise 2.0 solutions based on products like WebLogic Portal, UCM, and WebCenter;
- Availability to travel (EMEA Countries coverage);
- Availability to provide remote 24x7 services;
- Fluent English.
