Install new and transfer of existing manufacturing equipment in China and Europe
Responsible for planing and installation of the equipment, startup, operation instructions(SOS), operator training and internal release.
Accountable for process and equipment capability, continuous improvement of manufacturing process/equipment, improves yield rates together with the plant ME manager,plant ME experts and Global AME process managers.
Transfer of equipment in Europe, China and from Europe to China. Planing of building, infrastructure and layout. Leading and coordinating of equipment suppliers.
Development of Chinese & European equipment suppliers
Defines technical process sand equipment requirements, state of the art manufacturing, control and software equipment standards in close partnership with the Global AME process managers and plant ME process experts.
Project tracking and project support for Chinese and European equipment suppliers.
Project lead
Responsible for leading and managing cross functional teams within global and local organizations.
FMEA
Responsible for the Global FM process FMEA system. Acts as the key interface for AME and collaborates with the Global AME process managers and the AME/ME experts.

Minimum Qualifications:
High knowledge and skills in Automotive Industry, spcialized on assembly&packaging operations and mechanical product transformation.
Success in leading multiple, complex projects and changing priorities, making sound decisions and working effectively in a highly technical, team environment.
Experience in coordination of equipment vendors, building of new manufacturing areas and relocation of equipment.
Lean Expert or Black Belt certified. High pratical knowledge in using six sigma tools specifically DFSS.
Good English language skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, method, chemical or mechanical Engineering background preferred.
At least 5 years experience in Automotive Manufacturing/Engineering roles.
At least 2 years experience in leadership and managing of complex projects.
50% travel times in Europe and China. During critical phases up to 4 weeks trips to China / Europe required. |
