JOB DESCRIPTION
The ACCOUNTANT / FINANCIAL MANAGER will control all administrative procedures and processes, thus ensuring the continuity of operations and providing a clear overview of the business to the partners; he/she will also be responsible for the process of moving from external to internal bookkeeping. In addition to the common bookkeeping taks, the accountant will ensure all the necessary approvals and certificates are obtained and up-to-date and that all transactions are performed correctly. As the management of the company is not usually on site, the accountant will need to work independently and with a high level of discipline and efficiency. The success of the company depends greatly on its efficiency, and its administration processes should be managed in line with this principle.
The main activities of the ACCOUNTANT / FINANCIAL MANAGER will be;
• Structuring the accountancy system
• Managing a small administrative team (2-3 people)
• Accounting duties, such as:
• Ensuring all records, transactions, reports, operating practices and documents are compliant with Romanian regulations;
• Preparing VAT returns, profit tax returns and other necessary declarations;
• Preparing statutory financial statements in accordance with Romanian legislation;
• Summarizing financial indicators and making recommendations with the aim of increasing profitability;
• Providing assistance and advice on all financial issues so as to ensure continuity and profitability for the company;
• Payroll administration;
• Managing/organizing all banking matters;
• Financial reporting to the management;
o Profit and loss / monthly results
o Cash flow
o Cost prices
o Profit per transaction
o Influence of market price fluctuations on profitability
• Securing the administration is compliant for all export and import procedures;
• Ensuring/managing the authorizations and certificates for the company’s various operations;
• Administrate cars/machinery and equipment documents
• Assisting with purchasing.

OBLIGATORY REQUIREMENTS
• University degree in Accounting and Finance, ACCA would be a bonus
• Good communication skills, fluency in English
• 3+ years experience in an international environment
• Driving license
• Computer literate
• Disciplined, precise, efficient
• Independent and able to motivate others
• Natural authority, people will like working for you
• Good administrative/planning skills
• Experience with legal matters
