Role Summary/Purpose
As a part of GE Infrastructure, we have the worldwide resources and experience to help customers meet their needs for cleaner, more reliable and efficient energy. Our services extend from the manufacturing of gas turbines, supplying turnkey power stations, to the providing of long-term maintenance and customized services.

Essential Responsibilities

* Provide technical direction and/or project management to a team of technicians and craft labor for the maintenance, commissioning and installation of steam turbine and generator equipment, GE and/or Non-GE.
* Provide leadership in the resolution of Steam Turbine technical problems through interfacing with our engineering department.
* Preparation of outage reports, providing an overview of the technical findings, corrective actions and maintenance recommendations
* Provide leadership in on-site safety and quality systems
* Promote customer acceptance of GE's products and services and how these can support our customers with their availability and reliability challenges.
* Support the business growth requirement by driving customer satisfaction through deliver of top quality service.

Qualifications/Requirements
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience (University degree - mech/elect engineering) * Good command of oral and written English* A depth of relevant experience in electric power industry - power plant or field service experience preferred * Familiarity with steam turbine internal alignment, component repair and other related maintenance services * Experienced on GE and/or Non-GE Steam Turbines and Generators.* Work efficiently without direct supervision, consistently demonstrating high levels of performance * Ready to work continuously at customer facilities site and to travel extensively * Environmental, health & safety mindset and compliance * Excellent computer skillsSuccessful candidates will be employed under local employment conditions. All European languages are appreciated, in particular German, French, Italy, Spanish, and Romanian.The successful candidate may be based out of any one of the above countries.
